Couch to 5 K

Hi all you Case family fitness enthusiasts (and soon to be fitness enthusiasts) Just wanted to share what I've started to give me some accountability.....There is a program to help couch potatoes like me to get running.  It's called Couch to 5 K and I first heard about it when Jaimee Shepard was doing it and she posted her progress on Facebook.  Now I want to do it too, and I am on Week 1 Day 3.  First two days didn't kill me....it was harder than I thought, but sometimes worthwhile things are hard...and I can do hard things!  I've lost 25 pounds since the family reunion in July and I'm working on losing 25 more before I turn 50!  (you know...lose 50 pounds before I turn 50...)  I'm sure that the couch to 5K training program will help with the weight loss!
Also, we just got home from a Stake Youth Fireside about our Pioneer Trek in June.  Another good reason to get into better physical shape. (I'm in the YW presidency now--so we will be encouraging the girls to get more active in preparation for the trek.)
